Measurements: 15 x 15 x H 25 cm

In iconography, the name of Tritons refers to a large number of minor marine deities who accompany Poseidon, god of the Sea. Triton, in Greek mythology, is the son of the sea god Poseidon and the Nereid Amphitrite. He had a shell horn, whose sound calmed the storms and announced the arrival of his father. Triton was represented with the upper half human and the lower half shaped like a fish, while all the skin was a green one. Its origin is pregreca, probably Phoenician. Our Triton is represented with a Turbo Marmoratus shell, his tool to calm the storms and with the coral symbol of the Sea.
