The Three Guardians (in agate, silver sterling, garnet, smoky quartz, pearls)
Designed and handmade by Pestelli Creazioni, one of the most complex works created by Tommaso Pestelli.
The one-of-a-kind cup holds a smoky quartz “talisman” at its center, protected by three finely crafted silver dragons that support a refined agate cup, unique in workmanship and colour.
Smoky quartz, finely faceted with excellent transparency, notoriously has positive crystal therapeutic qualities aimed at influencing the mental sphere. Thanks to these beneficial influences, which help to remove fears and mental tiredness and provide the stimulus to achieve dreams and aspirations, negative emotions are appeased to replace them in positive energies.
This creation therefore wants to be more than a decorative object and bring with the properties of its stones a positive and beneficial effect for those who keep it.
The cup was made by joining the various parts by joining pins and threaded screws. This ancient technique – now almost totally abandoned – has been used over the centuries to build complex objects both for furnishings and for the liturgical field, evoking the charm of the Wunderkammer (chamber of wonders or cabinet of curiosities) of past centuries.
