Description
Aquamanile (sterling silver) designed and hand made by Pestelli Creazioni | Unique Piece
The Acquamanile (ancient ewer) is entirely handmade in sterling silver with the traditional technique of lost wax casting. These objects, called “aquamanile”, were used in the Middle Ages as water containers designed for washing hands and were usually fashioned in the shape of a legendary animal or creature. For this unique piece, Pestelli Creazioni was inspired by a typical medieval design, depicting a noble lion pouring water from its mouth.
